Autoclave Service Contracts

Bowen Dental Engineering offer autoclave service contracts for extra peace of mind and better value.

Our contract servicing packages allow you to pick an option that suits your practice.

Autoclave Servicing Requirements

Dental autoclaves are sophisticated and high-tech. To get the best out of them, and to comply with the law you must keep them in good working order.

According to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) of 1992 this means servicing to the manufacturer’s standards. Primary Care health providers must also comply with the Care Quality Commission’s Regulation 15 as a base standard for premises and equipment. HTM01-05 is the Health Technical Memorandum for decontamination in primary care dental practices, and autoclaves must meet these standards.

Autoclaves are also covered by legislation on the safety of Pressure Vessels and must be subject to proper testing and a regular inspection routine.

All of this must be properly recorded, and staff must be trained to safely use this equipment.

Autoclave Servicing for the Best Manufacturers

Bowen Dental Engineering work with the best dental equipment manufacturers. We sell a range of autoclaves and we can service autoclaves – always to manufacturer’s specifications – by Burtons, Eschmann, Excel and Faro, Prestige, Mocom, NSK, and MDS.

Autoclave Servicing with Bespoke Service Deals

Contract servicing takes the uncertainty out of dealing with this vital piece of equipment.

Bowen Dental Engineering has created a range of contract options to suit practices of different sizes, and to work with a range of budgets.

Autoclaves must be serviced annually, and it is not uncommon to have a service every quarter.

A service will cover any repairs, and also flag up potential future problems, and forestall breakdowns with preventive maintenance.

A full dental autoclave service can take up to 2 hours to complete.

Bowen Dental Engineering’s range of contracts should have an option to suit your dental practice.
